Guido Berta
Barbera d’Asti DOCG and Moscato d’Asti — from San Marzano Oliveto, the golden triangle of Asti.
San Marzano Oliveto is considered one of the best villages for Barbera d’Asti — and Guido Berta has his home here. Since 1997, he has managed the family winery founded by his parents: 25 hectares, Piedmontese grape varieties, and its own cellar. The focus is on Barbera d’Asti DOCG and Moscato d’Asti DOCG, cultivated according to integrated pest management principles, with vines averaging 35 years old, on the way to organic certification. The vineyard speaks clearly here — and Guido listens. The result is authentic Piedmontese wines that never deny the character of their origin.
